Resident’s Council

We encourage residents who are passionate about life at St. Joseph’s Villa to get involved in the care and support we provide! Residents meet monthly to discuss topics and share ideas that directly affect the quality of Villa life.  We keep residents up to date on progress, innovation and changes within our health system and beyond that may impact their care. There are exciting opportunities to be included in research initiatives and voice issues and propose solutions that help us to improve!

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month. Watch for notices on your floor for the next meeting date and read meeting minutes in the Resident Information Posting Binders located at the three main entrances of St. Joseph’s Villa and activity boards in each home area.

To get involved, please contact Linda Dennis by email at ldennis@sjv.on.ca, or by phone at
905-627-9011 ext. 2260!

Family Council

We want to give your loved ones the best, most compassionate care possible. We are inspired by the love, thoughtfulness and ideas that you have to share!  Consider joining the family council to advocate for changes and recommendations that will help us to serve you and your family better. Members meet monthly to support each other and discuss topics that are important to St. Joseph’s Villa residents’ quality of life. We are proud to be a member of the Local Health Integrated Network Four Regional Family Council Network.

We are currently recruiting a volunteer chair for our Family Council. If you are interested in this exciting role or would like more information, please contact Mieke Ewen, Director of Operations at 905-627-9011 ext. 2223.
