The S.I.M. gym is has an exercise program to suit every body!

Located on the second level of St. Joseph’s Villa in downtown Dundas, the Seniors in Motion (S.I.M.) gym is a fun, relaxed, state-of-the-art fitness centre for individuals 55+. We celebrate each person’s unique journey and help you achieve your health and fitness goals.

The S.I.M. gym has a full range of personal exercise machines, in addition to free weights and fitness equipment. Our group fitness classes are designed to improve bone and joint health, balance and coordination and overall cardiovascular strength. Our motivational instructors are Can-Fit-Pro and Bone Fit Certified and will work together with you to customize a fitness plan that meets all your health and lifestyle needs. It’s a great place to meet people and make friends!

At your first session, you’ll visit with our personal trainers to complete a fitness assessment. They will give you a guided tour of the machines and equipment.

Unlike other gyms, we offer month by month memberships, with hold options and no hidden fees!

St. Joseph’s Villa is located on a city bus route and offers lots of free parking.  Enjoy other on-site Villa amenities like the café, tuck shop, clothing boutique, chapel, beauty salon and therapeutic pool.

Today our Local Health Integration Network considers the S.I.M. gym as an effective part of “aging at home strategies” to care for the health and wellbeing of our aging population.
